Owning the Capresso MG900 10-Cup Rapid Brew Coffee Maker

An upgrade to Capresso’s MG600 coffee maker, the MG900 features an updated LED Clock/Timer, a redesigned control panel, and a transparent water reservoir. Housed in elegant stainless steel, the MG900 can brew up to 10 cups of coffee in less than 7 minutes. You can program the timer to have the MG900 power on and brew at a time of your choosing. To extend the lifespan of your machine and protect the flavor of your coffee, the 50 oz water reservoir can be fitted with a charcoal water filter to filter up to 82% of impurities. The filter is actively monitored once installed and the coffee maker will alert you to change it once enough pots of coffee have been brewed.

Water is heated rapidly by the stainless steel-lined aluminum heating element. The MG900 can heat up to 10 cups of coffee in less than 7 minutes. If you’re the kind of person who can’t wait for that first cup every morning, the drip stop feature allows you to pause the brew cycle and pour yourself a cup. For clean pouring, the glass carafe features a drip-free pouring spout. To ensure the best extraction the showerhead is extra wide to fully saturate all of the coffee grounds while brewing. Located to the right of the carafe, the programmable LED clock doubles as a timer that can be set to have the coffee maker power on begin brewing at the time of your choosing. The MG900 is equipped with an electronic filter indicator that monitors the number of pots you brew to alert you when it’s time to replace your charcoal filter. The MG900 is equipped with a memory function that saves all of your programmed settings in the event of short power outages (up to 10 seconds). The MG900 is fitted with a safety auto shut-off that triggers when brewing is complete.
