Capresso EC Select Overview

The Capresso EC Select is a semi-automatic, single boiler espresso and cappuccino machine designed with an attention to detail and a level of functionality comparable to machines with a much higher price point.

Included is a 15-bar pump to provide ideal pressure that results in high-quality extraction and richer crema, a dual-function portafilter that produces one or two drinks at a time, a cup-warming platform at the top of the machine and a number of other features to help you brew and froth to your heart’s content.

Features and Performance

The Capresso EC Select is incredibly compact and housed in a stainless steel body with black plastic accents and has simple controls. To switch between brewing and frothing functions, turn the knob located on the front panel of the machine to switch between the two and that’s it.

The 15-bar pump that provides pressure ideal for producing crema rich cafe-quality espresso and cappuccino. The portafilter can make two single or double-shots at once and has a self-locking mechanism with a thumb-guard to ensure a proper fit. Lastly, the swivel frother will allow you to switch between different sized cups, glasses or pitchers with ease.

Other features include a cup-warming platform to help your cups retain heat for your brew, a removable 40 oz reservoir for an easy refill when you get low on water and a detachable drip tray for an easy clean up. Also included with every EC Select is a coffee scoop and tamper.
